What is the process for wraping my boat?
Once you have decided to wrap your boat the process is as follows:
1. Once we have received your deposit we start the design process. To start the design process, send us photos of your boat along with measurements. Photos should be taken straight on, not at an angle. The design process can take as little as a day if you are going with a stock design, if you are going with a custom design it will depend on the complexity of the design and the number of changes.
2. Once the design is finalized, we will schedule and install date.
3. Once we print your design, it needs to out gas for 24 hours before it can be laminated. Once the print has been laminated we are ready for install. When we have the opportunity, we typically wait until the boat has arrived to begin printing so once we get the boat in the shop we can make any necessary adjustments to make the design for optimal fit.
4. While your wrap is printing we take that time to degrease and clean the outside of the boat so it is ready for the wrap.
5. Once the print has been laminated and the boat has been cleaned, the graphics are installed. Typical install takes one to two days. If we wait to print the wrap once the boat is in our shop, your looking at a total of a 4 day process.

Our Current Project
Just in Tuesday, we are wrapping a 2009 Malibu Wakesetter! Why would anyone want to wrap a new Malibu? So many good reasons. Our customer lives on a lake that has 3 other boats identical to his, he wants to set himself apart. The other reason is the wrap protects your boat. If you have been following us, this is nothing new to you. Check back early next week for the before and after pictures.

Success Stories
What I love about MNBoatWraps is that every project is a success story. Our biggest success story comes from one of our boat dealers. We will call this dealer Bob for privacy reasons. Bob took in a boat on trade that was mechanically sound, the interior was in very good shape, but the exterior of the boat was not pretty. He called us up and said he needed a wrap and wanted a factory look to the boat. We completed the boat wrap and he listed his boat for sale at $6500.00 and brought it to a boat show. Customers really liked the boat at the show but were skeptical with such a low price tag on it. Anyone in business knows you have to make money to stay in business so at $6500.00 this dealer was not likely loosing money at his $6500.00 price tag. We spoke with the dealer after the show to follow up and see what kind of response the boat got and because we were sure the boat was going to sell at the show. We all came to the conclusion that customers thought there has to be something wrong with this boat to be selling at this price. So he raised the price to $8900.00 and it sold that week for $8200.00. Had he not wrapped the boat and lowered the original price, he would not have made nearly as much money nor would he have sold the boat as fast as he did. If you are a dealer and would like to get set up on our program, contact us sales@crowriversigns.com or if you looking to sell your boat for a little more money check out our wraps.
